Is there a way to tell someone that what they are doing is wrong? In a straight forward way as not to being the bad guy. But as letting them know your there to help. No matter how i may put my words they come out harsh and cold. Maybe i could research their problem and read of what others in their shoes have been through and how they overcame their situation with a little more ease. Im not quite sure on how it will play out or how offended they will get. But in some way i feel like i need to try. Not just to help one in need but to show them that no matter what, wrong or right, someone is always on their side rooting them towards the best. God bless you all today as well as tomorrow.
I read on the internet that there are more than four million children living in foster and group homes in the U.S. and of those 139,000 are are waiting to be adopted. In other countries there are a little over 17,000. Though it may be less expensive and the waiting time is less. 139,000 children waiting to be adopted and loved is an extreme amount, don’t you think? There are commercials on animals and feeding the children. I have yet to see one about giving a child a loving home or a bright future. Where is the media on that? I seen over a hundred photos of children in Arkansas asking for a family to except them and show them love. If anyone is looking to give a child a loving heart, adoption is the right choice. God bless you all and the children of our future.
Fear is a factor of life. May it be fear of failure, death, life, love or anything that puts a tremble in your body. Either or, fear should not run your life. I say as if I telling my self to control my fears. It’s hard at times to live what you speak of. It’s easier to tell someone else how they might handle things. Because they can not read your true thoughts. I try my hardest to tell others what they need to hear, rather than what they want. Don’t let fear consume you and believe all of what you speak and mean what you may say. God bless.
Did anyone, while growing up, get taught that you are supposed to look both ways before crossing the street? It puzzles me how many people except motorist to stop for them. I think that maybe they are daring them to hit them. It does not matter if there is a cross walk or not. I taught my kids children to Always look both ways. One fact, not everyone stops when they are suppose to. Law or not. I recently seen a hit and run in Little Rock. I guess she thought she had enough time to turn. And while I was fixing to proceed through a green light, I paused for a second and a motorist ran the red light in front of me. So good thing I look both ways or it may have ended badly for me. So a quick reminder, just because its a crosswalk, you should still look both ways. God bless everyone.
I just had the opportunity to go on a 24 hour detox of technology. Well more on the terms of an assignment. I would have to say the only thing I worried about was my children’s school calling, cause I would have flunked the assignment by answering the phone. So think goodness nothing like that went on. So all, in all the day went well. Got some cleaning and yard work done. I could possibly do it again. My kids wouldn’t though. With no television they would go crazy. God bless you all.
I heard on the radio the other day that a woman was worried about her husband would start using drugs again after 9 years, and then it would turn into her problem. Someone said “yes, once an addict always an addict”. Maybe in a way yes, that may be true. But we are all addicted to something. She should focus on being supportive instead of wrapping it around her. Cause the truth of the matter is that he chose to turn his life around and he shouldn’t be wondering if he has a supportive team or people that don’t believe in him on his side. Always keep faith and help those reaching out for you to lend a helping hand. God bless!!
It’s funny to think how hard it may be for some to go 24 hours without any technology. That is an assignment in mass communication class this week. And though most use their phones daily, it can’t be all that bad right? Just that day i was walking to my car and counted the people either texting or talking on their phones. 12 just to my car, not counting the ones i did not see. You know it would take less time to walk across the street without a phone in your hand. God bless everyone and your travels.
